Transparency is one of our main values, surely the most representative and the one we most identify with at Arc'Warm. Therefore, we detail the materials we use, where we manufacture our products, who are the members of the Arc'Warm project (learn more about us click here) and the processes we use in manufacturing. All this, with the aim of sharing our "Know How", our total knowledge and that the end users know as much as possible about the product they are acquiring.
It is extremely important to us that our products are sustainable over time and in their manufacture, as well as the fabrics used, including Merino wool, which is certified as a 100% natural product and IVN Best certified for Italy (SWGI) by ICEA No.: IVN 001-2016.
Following our policy of Transparency and offering all the information and knowledge that these 20 years in the sector have given us about the products, we can share it with all of you and help you in your motorcycle routes.
Below, we show you all the information and knowledge we have on how to equip yourself for your motorcycle trips so that, whether you buy our products or not, you can apply this knowledge and make your motorcycle routes as comfortable as possible.

As part of our policy of transparency, we offer our customers maximum transparency and information on the products they purchase, for example, in the product where we have put the most effort in terms of development and innovation, our UnderHelmet Arctic M-Wool, you can see inside the product all the existing information, for example, the differentiated areas of each product.
Local Proximity Production.
We provide our customers with information on where our garments are produced in their entirety.Arc'Warm is entirely made in Portugal, in various locations within this great country. After visiting the production factories on several occasions, meeting many of their employees, interacting with their managers and getting to know their design and manufacturing processes in depth, we can guarantee that the workers involved in the creation of Arc'Warm thermal clothing enjoy their labour rights and have optimal conditions for the performance of their work, all of which has a higher cost and makes the final product more expensive, but undoubtedly guarantees sustainability and opportunities for the people involved in the materialisation of the products Arc'Warm.
These same factories are governed by the European Sustainability and Pollution regulations, among other very important ones, thus guaranteeing sustainable production. Todos los excedentes de producción se deben gestionar para darles una segunda vida. Water consumption and pollution are fully supervised and production guarantees are fully adapted to EU regulations.
Unfortunately, all these parameters do not occur in "Low Cost" productions, where price and final profit take precedence over the worker and his conditions, where they know that durability is far from being the minimum accepted in any product and where large productions of low quality and low cost are carried out, where the commercial margin is considerably increased.
However, at Arc'Warm we identify with and do not understand this type of manufacturing, where garments are made to be thrown away. For all these reasons, at Arc'Warm we are committed to a smaller production with high quality products that have a longer durability and therefore a higher cost and lower commercial margin. The price range of Arc'Warm products is high, as the materials and final performance offered to motorcyclists cannot be compared to the garments that can be found in general chains and department stores.
It is important to convey that Arc'Warm products are designed and manufactured exclusively for the motorbike sector. It does not make sense to compare them with outdoor clothing from large department stores or outdoor sports brands, as outdoor clothing must be differentiated from motorbike clothing, which have different needs in their final performance.
You can see the basic differences between Outdoor clothing and Motorcycle clothing in our next section, by clicking here:
Differences between motorbike clothing and outdoor clothing
To assess the effectiveness, chafing and breathability of our thermal clothing, we have also used them in outdoor activities such as mountain and running, with satisfactory results. However, as we also know these sectors and their products, we can assure you that a good product from a good outdoor brand designed for these sports works much better than ours. We must and want to be honest and transparent in our answers and advice.
